Leisure – There are numerous activities within walking distance for all ages. Enjoy a round of golf at our neighboring 18 hole golf course, arrange some water sports (if you are a beginner some lessons), or simply follow the signposted “Ulsterway” and experience the beautiful countryside at your leisure. We are within minutes of East Down Yacht Club and if you are keen angler, bring your rod and obtain a licence for game and coarse fishing.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heritage – Embark on a journey through the centuries and visit the burial place of St. Patrick, Down Cathedral and numerous other ancient sites.

Family Fun - Not forgetting the children, Down District offers award winning beaches, picnic and play parks, adventure play grounds and of course “Tropicana” heated fun pools with  giant slides, what more could a family want?

Equestrian – Numerous equestrian centers are located near by catering for the complete beginner to the competitive rider. Stabling can also be arranged on site by prior arrangement.
